Sara Gordon is an associate professor at the William S. Boyd School of Law. On Feb. 3, Professor Gordon was invited to repeat her presentation titled “Schema Theory and ‘Plain Language’ Jury Instructions" - this time to the Federal Public Defender’s office in Reno. Earlier this year on Jan. 29, she gave the same presentation to the office in Las Vegas.
The Federal Public Defender’s office provides federal criminal defense services to those unable to afford representation.
Professor Gordon's research focuses on law and psychology and the impact of cognitive and social psychology on jurors and other legal decision-makers.
