Sylvia Lazos is the Justice Myron Leavitt Professor of Law at the William S. Boyd School of Law.On June 30, she was featured in the KSNV News 3 segment Funding formula funneled to Nevada students with high needs.
"We're 49th in terms of graduation rates, and... our reading proficiencies for ELL children are below special ed children by the time they get to eighth grade," she said during the segment.
