Jennifer Carr '06 is director of the Academic Success Program at the William S. Boyd School of Law.Professor Carr was recently honored with the 2015 Nevada Regents' Academic Advisor Award. The award, established by the Board of Regents in 1998, honors outstanding academic student advising. Recipients are given a $5,000 stipend.
As director of the academic success program, Professor Carr provides individual counseling on academic matters, bar examination preparation, and group presentations on necessary legal analysis skills. She works with students to help them manage the rigors of law school, bringing balance to their legal education.
